  • CNC Lathe (SWISS)

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating conventional machines, special purpose machines, computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate aircraft parts and components while maintaining quality and safety standards.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    * Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and/or advanced variation tools to ensure precision machining operations.
    * Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machining procedures to produce quality precision parts.
    * Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to produce parts, determine dimensions and tolerances as needed.
    * Oversee machine operation and make necessary adjustments to produce product.
    * Monitor and verify parts to ensure conformance to engineer drawings and quality standards.
    * Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material
    handling.
    * Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    * 1 to 2 years of experience running 3, 4, and 5 axis numerical control machines, preferred.
    * Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.
    * Requires high attention to detail and the ability to focus on safety, quality and productivity.
    * Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications and instructions.
    * Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic work environment.

    Previous experience is preferred but consideration will be given to all applicants with superior work ethic and a positive attitude.

  • Deburr Technician

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Responsible for operating a variety of power & hand tools in addition to standard deburr equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, rough and sharp edges from sheet metal parts.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    * Operate and maintain various equipment to cut, clean, and deburr material.

  • Production Supervisor

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Responsible for overseeing and directing the work of employees. Accountable for delivering on both quality and operational goals at the manufacturing level; while keeping alignment with the overall company objectives.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    * Partner with General Manager to plan and execute production schedule to ensure on time delivery.
    * Oversee, coach, and develop employees by training on work methods and best practices.
    * Promote company goals and lead employees to achieve personal and company performance goals.
    * Train new operators on existing operations and communicate performance expectations.
    * Ensure production work tasks are being completed according to customer specification.
    * Provide coaching and counseling for employee issues and concerns including interpretation of company policies and procedures.
    * Interface with Quality, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other functional areas as needed.
    * Generate innovative and practical solutions to production issues.
    * Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    * Minimum of five years of experience in Manufacturing Leadership with an additional three years of experience in CNC Machining.
    * BS Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field of study or equivalent experience; preferred.
    * Basic knowledge of programming; preferred.
    * Blueprint reading
    * Previous Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing experience is highly desired.
    * Demonstrated ability to lead a team toward their objectives – strong interpersonal skills and communications skills are required.
    * Must be schedule driven coupled with being a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
    * Strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
    * Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Responsible for managing all processes related to the purchasing of materials, parts, supplies, and services to support production while meeting delivery requirements and quality specifications.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    * Coordinate and manage all purchasing activity including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of products and supplies.
    * Facilitate supplier communication to ensure that product requirements and deadlines are met in addition to sourcing new suppliers to meet business requirements.
    * Monitor lead-time, pricing, shipping and quality discrepancies and provide problem resolution as needed.
    * Optimize production efficiency and throughput by focusing on forecasting, inventory planning, and scheduling to ensure on time deliveries by monitoring material availability,
    capacity levels and inventory controls.
    * Update the MRP system for all acquired information, including pricing, volume breaks and lead times.
    * Analyze changes in materials and supplies to find ways to reduce cost and improve quality.
    * Effectively and continually communicate order status, delivery updates, and changes to all invested departments.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience; preferred.
    * Previous knowledge of machine shop operations.
    * Ability to read and understand customer/internal blueprints.
    * Must have working knowledge and proficiencies in MS Office applications.
    * Ability to professionally communicate within all levels of the organization.
    * Knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) methodologies and practices.
    * Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
    * Able to pro-actively identify issues, their root cause and countermeasure accordingly.
    * Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making ability.
    * Able to work independently and ensure tasks are completed with little supervision.
