    C.E. Machine is currently hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift Deburr Technicians. 1-2 years of experience in an aerospace environment is preferred but we are willing to train applicants with minimal experience, superior work ethic and a positive attitude.

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Responsible for operating a variety of power & hand tools in addition to standard deburr equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, rough and sharp edges from sheet metal parts.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    § Operate and maintain various equipment to cut, clean, and deburr material.

    § Utilize various gauges to verify and visually check parts for compliance to quality and workmanship standards.

    § Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.

    § Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    § 1 – 2 years of experience preferred in Aerospace or manufacturing industries.

    § Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.

    § Requires attention to detail and the ability to focus on safety, quality and productivity.

    § Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications and instructions.

    § Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic work environment.

  • MASTERCAM AND/OR CATIA PROGRAMMER

    Open position available for a Mastercam and/or CATIA Programmer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interpret drawings and models to create programs for CNC machines that include proper methodology, tooling cutting speeds and feeds in order to generate quality parts in accordance with production standards.
    • Create setup sheets based on established criteria.
    • Revise programs and documents based on engineering changes.
    • Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of CATIA V5, and/or Mastercam software
    • Working knowledge of Vericut is preferred
    • Working knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on various machines.
    • Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions.
    • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, and communicate both in English as it relates to the job.
    • Must be a demonstrated team player with a positive attitude, superior work ethic, and able to solve issues respectfully with all personnel.
    • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
    • Preferred applicants would have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating manual or CNC machines in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of experience directly related to CNC programming.

  • CNC Machinist

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while maintaining quality and safety standards.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    § Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and/or advanced variation tools to ensure precision machining operations.

    § Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to produce parts, determine dimensions and tolerances as needed.

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Responsible for performing routine inspections, FAI, final inspection to assure that product meets company standard, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards.  Maintains complete and accurate records of inspection results.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    § Perform quality inspection checks on material, in process parts and final machined product.

    § Perform First Article Inspection in the prescribed amount of time.

    § Program and operate CMMs and interpret results (Calypso/Zeiss).

    § Maintain and generate all required quality documentation including inspection and discrepancy reports.

    § Communicate effectively with machinist, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality.

    § Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    § Minimum of 5 years of previous aerospace inspection experience, required.

    § Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspections Requirements.

    § Previous experience using measuring equipment including micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc.

    § CMM experience, preferred

    § Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.

    § Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.

    § Proficient computer skills, required.

    § Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.

    § Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
