  • CNC Swiss Lathe Operator: 1st & 2nd Shift Positions Available

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating Swiss Lathe machining centers to fabricate aircraft parts and components while maintaining quality and safety standards.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Set up & operate Lathes and Swiss CNC machines to perform a series of machining operations such as bar feeding, turning, drilling, boring, threading & milling to specification.
    • Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machining procedures to produce quality precision parts.
    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to produce parts, determine dimensions and tolerances as needed.
    • Oversee machine operation and make necessary adjustments to produce product.
    • Monitor and verify parts to ensure conformance to engineer drawings and quality standards.
    • Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to produce parts, determine dimensions and tolerances as needed.
    • Oversee machine operation and make necessary adjustments to produce product.
    • Monitor and verify parts to ensure conformance to engineer drawings and quality standards.

  • Maintenance Technician – Weekend Shift

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for performing electrical and mechanical repairs to all CNC manufacturing equipment and perform facility maintenance as required in addition to completing preventative and routine maintenance tasks.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Install and maintain equipment, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems of production equipment.
    • Diagnose failures, repair and follow-up on problem solution procedures related to shop equipment, maintain and troubleshoot issues with controls in various machines.
    • Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance.
    • Communicate effectively with machinist, operators, and management to maintain acceptable machine performance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 3 years of previous CNC repair and maintenance experience, preferred.
    • Skilled with hand and power tools.
    • Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for operating a variety of power & hand tools in addition to standard deburr equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, rough and sharp edges from sheet metal parts.

  • Quality Control Inspector

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for performing routine inspections, FAI, and final inspection to assure that product meets company standard, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards. Maintains complete and accurate records of inspection results.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Perform quality inspection checks on material, in process parts and final machined product.
    • Perform First Article Inspection in the prescribed amount of time.
    • Maintain and generate all required quality documentation including inspection and discrepancy reports.
    • Communicate effectively with machinist, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 5 years of previous aerospace inspection experience, required.
    • Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspections Requirements.
    • Previous experience using measuring equipment including micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc.
    • CMM experience, preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
    • Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.
    • Proficient computer skills, required.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
